Bonded Parrots to Rehome

We have a white fronted Amazon Parrot and a Cockatiel to rehome. We are very sad to do this, but we think we can find a better home for them. We rescued them from an abusive household and while we thought we had enough bird experience for them, we don’t. He HATES my husband to the point where they can’t spend time outside the cage because he will fly at my husband and attack. From our experience, he needs a female caretaker. He is absolutely fine with me, but we don’t want to keep them cooped in the cage all the time. They are a bonded pair- they can NOT be separated or they both scream constantly. The cockatiel actually has laid eggs for him in the past. The Amazon is an extremely smart bird, he laughs and talks (only when he wants to). He is very loud. We think he is about 8 years old. We think the cockatiel is 3. Their favorite snacks are raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, sunflower seeds, cheez-it’s, peanuts, millet seeds, peppers, cucumber, and greens of all sorts. We are asking $800 to ensure that they go to an excellent home WITH bird experience.
