Press release from the City Of Davis: September 03, 2021 2:13 pm STRIPING Striping will occur in the following areas during the week of 9/6: •Tuesday, 9/7 - Line Striping, 1st, 2nd, G, F and J. This will have some lane shifts and flaggers. There will be no road closures and no impact to parking. •Wednesday, 9/8 - Parking stalls and markers 2nd and G; no parking on 2nd St (between E and H) and G St (between 3rd & 5th) •Thursday/Friday - Parking stalls and markers F (1st to Covell Blvd.); no parking, but road not closed and all side streets open for parking (downtown work done in AM) COVELL BIKE PATH, ANDERSON & COVELL, CATALINA & COVELL CLOSING TO PEDS & BICYCLISTS On Tuesday, 9/7, through Friday, 9/10, concrete work at both corners of Anderson & Covell and Catalina & Covell (north side of Covell) will close the crosswalks and bike paths at those intersections. The road for drivers remains open with some lane shifts and shoulder closures. Pedestrians and bicyclists heading west on Covell Blvd. will want to get on the bike path on F Street and go through Community Park or proceed to 14th Street if traveling to Davis High or North Davis Elementary. Bicyclists heading east on Covell will want to use Sycamore to go up to Alvarado Ave or use Oak to go down to 14th Street to heads to area schools. DECATUR COURT RESIDENTS Decatur Court residents – the City will be doing concrete work on your court during the week of 9/6 (no work on Monday). The court will remain open but there will be noise impacts and some possible no parking areas. The City will return to do paving and slurry seal at a later date. VISTA WAY RESIDENTS Vista Way residents – the City will be doing concrete work on your street during the week of 9/6 (no work on Monday).
