Annual Fundraiser to suppler the Rasin Foundation and Petite Rivière Community Health Center in Leogane Haiti. We are deeply saddened by the tragic events in Haiti and the assassination of President Moïse. Our clinic remains open and the need has only increased over the past year. We hope you will be able to join us to help support our staff and patients in Haiti at our 9th annnual fundraiser. We are fortunate to be able to gather together safely this year in person at a covered outdoor venue. We encourage all guests to be vaccinated. All guests are required to wear masks except when eating or drinking. The event is outdoors in an open gazebo on the Neponset River. We hope you will be able to join us this year and/or send a donation to help support our work in Haiti. On August 14, 2021 a magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck near Les Cayes, Haiti killing over 2,200 people, injuring over 12,000 and damaging over 180,000 homes, schools, businesses and churches. Our staff in Leogane, survivors of the 2010 earthquake, and Kiskeya Guest House staff and local volunteers traveled to Les Cayes on Friday August 20, 2021. They set up a mobile clinic and provided food, water and other assistance. Understanding the need for ongoing support and the lack of local resources they plan to return on a regular basis. We are saddened by the loss of life and ongoing needs and are so thankful for our dedicated staff and their work to help others in need.
