After being fans of each other’s past projects, Courier Club (named after a popular hangout for the city’s bike couriers) banded together in Philadelphia during the summer of 2018. Offering a sound reminiscent of an early 2000’s sports video game soundtrack, they gained a following through a series of house parties and singles releases. Inspired by disappointing relationships, odd-end jobs, and their Chicago & California garage rock roots, The band pulls their influence from The Dandy Warhols, Veruca Salt and the Velvet Underground.
