Our San Francisco based Telecommunications Construction company is looking for the following personnel, - Aerial Line and Aerial Ground Construction workers. - Underground Construction Crew Leaders (Foremen), Operators and laborers. Our crews build internet and telecom networks using state-of-the-art fiber optic technology. We are on the front line of the Internet revolution building networks to provide ultra-fast internet connections. Our company is currently classified as an essential service and has been serving the Bay Area for over 19 years. Aerial Jobs involves : - Installation of New Telecommunications Cable Networks. Updates and Repairs to Existing telecommunications cable networks - Safely use hand tools and equipment such as; wrenches, drills, ladders, saws, lashers, climbing hooks and more - Safely operate bucket trucks - Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones & safety barriers - Flagging traffic when required - Understanding of separation and clearance regulations Underground Jobs Involves: - Jackhammering, trenching, backfilling and compacting - Installing boxes and vaults - Concrete restoration & asphalt restoration - Cable installation through conduits - Operation of underground equipment such as Skid Steer, Mini Excavator, Backhoe, Horizontal Directional Drill Aerial & Underground Qualifications: - Previous construction experience is desirable, preferably in the construction industry. - A valid & unrestricted driving license. - Ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck and work aloft and climb poles up to 40ft. - Solcom is willing to train entry-level employee applicants.
