Hello, I’m looking for the right home for my little guy, Loki, a male parakeet. We were told he was probably a couple years old when we rescued him with a cockatiel who has since passed away from cancer. We have had him about nearly two years. He isn’t exactly “hand tame,” in that he won’t usually let you pick him up, but he does like to land on you and interact (on his terms). We are choosing to rehome him because we feel he should be with other budgies, and cockatiels are a better bird for our home. He can come with a newish cage (appx 30x17.5x17.5) and everything needed, but honestly I really prefer to find someone who already has established budgies and is looking for someone to join the crew. Rehoming fee really only to ensure he goes to a good home, and for the right situation is negotiable. $30 for the bird, $100 with the complete setup up.
