On this walking tour, our expert guide will provide insights and put things in context as they take you around the downtown and throughout the decades in order to help locals and visitors understand how Detroit’s history shaped where we are today, connect with what’s happening now and be inspired to take an active role in creating the city’s future. Location’s highlighted include: Campus Martius ParkSpirit of DetroitParadise Valley DistrictCapitol ParkSmall businesses like Spectacles, Detroit is the New Black and House of Pure VinTotal Walking Distance = ~1.5 miles REGISTERING: These public tour tickets are $20, but please contact us at [email protected] if you are unable to pay. RECOMMENDED: Masks are recommended for participants that are not vaccinated against COVID-19. CHECK-IN: The tour begins promptly at the start time. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of the tour and check in with your guide who will be wearing a blue Detroit Experience Factory t-shirt. PARKING: There is a parking lot at the starting point or street parking nearby. Use of public transportation is also encouraged as an alternative. TICKETING: No need to print your ticket.
