HAMDEN, CT — A bus driver has been "reprimanded" after an elementary school student was dropped off at the wrong location on Tuesday, according to the New Haven Register. Jaclyn Negri told the Register that her son, a fifth grader at Bear Path Elementary School, wasn't at his bus stop when she got there on Tuesday. School officials said he was placed on the wrong bus and she went to the school to get him, but a neighbor called around 30 minutes later to say he was at their house, according to the Register. The student told Negri he was placed on the wrong bus even though he tried to protest and also told the bus driver the location was wrong when he was dropped off, the Register reported. The discipline for the bus driver wasn't disclosed and the incident is being investigated. Read more at the New Haven Register here. See also: 300 Students Affected By Canceled Bus Routes In Hamden
