Disney's 'Tangled' Shown Saturday On Lesher Garage Roof

WALNUT CREEK, CA —The Lesher Center for the Arts will show the third film in its Movies on the Roof series this weekend, when it presents Disney's "Tangled." At 8 p.m. Saturday on top of the Lesher Center for the Arts Parking Garage, 1625 Locust St, the 2010 animated film will be screened. The PG-rated film is the story of Rapunzel, who is voiced by Mandy Moore. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online, and the roof will open one hour before showtime. There is open seating on a first-come, first-seated basis, according to the Lesher Center. Audience members are allowed to bring lawn chairs, blankets, snacks, dinner and other comforts of home. Portable restrooms will be available on the ground floor of the garage. The Lesher Center said access to the roof - via ramp, stairs or elevator - will be easiest when parking on the fourth level of the garage. According to the Lesher Center, proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for all guests ages 12 and over. Face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated guests during the outdoor performance. However, face coverings are required for all guests ages two and over when visiting inside the Lesher Center. There are three more scheduled Movies on the Roof after this weekend, they are: 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11 - "Jumanji: The Next Level" (PG-13) 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9 - Disney's "Coco" (PG) 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16 - Disney's "Hocus Pocus" (PG)
