Description
I have a 2008 Chevy Impala that is starting, running, and driving but I would like someone to inspect, diagnose and do some preventative maintenance.
Issues:
-oil leaking on top of engine, likely valve cover gasket/intake manifold. Had these replaced last year but the job may have not been done right. I am concerned about oil getting into the plugs at this point.
-occasionally starting very quickly when engine is warmed up
-ignition key lock cylinder feels loose, could be causing this starting issue?
-engine sounds loud/metallic at serpentine belt, could be a bearing?
I would like to pay someone in cash (negotiable) to diagnose these problems and inspect my vehicle overall to make recommendations of what should be fixed. I would expect an estimate.
If this works out, I would like to pay for the parts/labor to be done.
This is a good opportunity to have some regular work if you are a home mechanic looking for some extra income. It could become a regular thing too if you want to do oil changes, tire rotation, swapping winter/summer tires, etc.
Weekends are best for me to do this work, but I can try to work around your schedule. I work and live at the Grand Canyon so I have some challenges in getting stuff like this done.
Please email or text me only.
Thank you,
Pete
