Hey all, I'm a cis-male in my mid-20s, Mitski super fan and want to form a group to cover her songs. I played guitar in my previous band and have sang for covers and original performances at open mics and such. I am somewhat competent in the other basic band instruments (drums, bass) so I'm happy to take one of those depending on who responds. At this point, I just want to see if people are interested and what kind of group we can put together. So whatever your musical talents if you've been wanting to play some Puberty 2, singing Bury Me Out at Makeout Creek in your car, or just want to Be The Cowboy, hit me up! I'm currently a grad student at U Mass so I will probably only be able to commit to an hour or so practice a week. Also I want to respect people's COVID concerns so we can practice outdoors or with masks on and stuff.
