Gigging 90s rock cover band looking for bassist

Generation Zedd is looking for a new bassist! We’re a group of 4 guys based in the South Bay Area, playing the music we grew up on…bands like Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Bad Religion, and Alice in Chains. We play covers only, strictly focused on 1990s rock, punk, and alternative. We’ve been together as a group for almost 2 years. We’re actively gigging -- we’ve recently played venues like Retro Junkie, ECR Pub, and most recently The Ritz, and have multiple gigs booked in the fall that we’d really like our new bassist playing at. This isn’t a career for us (family and 9-5 jobs take priority), but we are dedicated to making great music and putting on great shows. What we’re looking for is pretty straightforward: someone who isn’t interested in drama, who loves the type of music the band plays, plays their bass pretty well, shows up to rehearsal and gigs on time and prepared, is a team player, can pay their share of our studio rent, and is around our age (we’re all late 30s to mid 40s). You’ll get the exact same thing in return from us. We have 24/7 rehearsal space in San Jose…you bring your bass and amp. We rehearse once per week on a weeknight.
