Description

Do you love cats and kittens? Do you have a Saturday afternoon free? If so, then please join me! Date: Saturday - September 11, 2021 Time: 3:00pm - 4:00pm PST RSVP here >>> I am starting a KitTea Saturday event, hoping to connect with those who love cats. Especially if you are interested to foster kittens or adopt or becoming a helping hand, please join me for a virtual afternoon tea time, and let’s chat. I would also love to introduce you to my foster kittens and answer any questions you may have. I’ve been rescuing and fostering cats for several years independently and recently started volunteering at Ohlone Humane Society. All rescued cats and kittens have different histories, but as a foster, I get to recreate their stories and show them that humans are there to be loved. The pandemic has been hard for everyone, and homeless cats are no exception. Due to business closures and social distancing practices, the effort to do TNR (trap/neuter/release) and to take care of stray cats was severely impacted. Putting cat food outside is easy but taking control of the aftermath is not and often ignored. Shelters and rescue organizations are overwhelmed and don’t have enough fosters. Adoption rates have gone down compared to previous years and homeless kittens are in desperate need of help more than ever. Date: Saturday - September 11, 2021 Time: 3:00pm - 4:00pm PST RSVP here >>>
