I have a blue fronted Amazon Parrot Bird, he's about 4-5 years old. We've had him about 6 months as a rescue type situation and from day 1 he's loved me (male) but doesn't like women.. All men who have come to my house he's let hold him and will ruffle feathers for scratches. All women he's tried to bite when they get too close. I don't want him confined to his cage but I don't trust him. He absolutely loves men but hates women. Idk whats happened to him in the past, we've done nothing but try to work with him and get him comfortable. No issues with dogs, likes to be handled and loved on by men. Talks a little says a few things. He says I love you when I walk in the door and will say hello whenever a phone rings or someone knocks on the door. My wife has been great about trying to be the one who feeds him and gives him treats, he can turn on her quick though. Never once bitten me. I have a baby girl thats more active and crawling and I don't trust him out of his cage so I need to find someone who will work with him and let him out of his cage more and hopefully can make this awesome bird even more successful for a great life. Will come with two cages, but one is not that great of shape, planned to try and make it an outside cage for him. Also have his travel carrier. He is not free, adoption fee for him is in the middle of the range for what they go for. If your not prepared for adoption fee please don't message.
