Small Dog for Forever Home

A very loving small dog. He was a rescue, possibly abandoned from Shawnee. He is definitely not aggressive. A very gentle dog, easily scared and welps when he is afraid. He was found in shawnee looking for shelter by a family. Perfect as a companion dog for a retiree, he would follow you around and sit next to you when you sit. Loves being next to his human companions or at their feet at the dinner table. He has his shots. He loves walks and loves a small back yard, will run and come back to you. He is crate trained and has his shots. Not in a rush to re-home him, but want him to have a loving forever home, possibly with a retiree or where someone is home much of the day. He is about 2 years old. Possibly a ratt-terrier mix or jack russel terrier mix, but unsure. He is a little smaller than my fully grown house cat. He will be good with kids, very obedient. I don't believe that he would be a match for a home with other more dominant dogs. He does well with cats, occasionally welps when one swipes at him or playfully pounces on him, he would then run to a human. He does well on a leash, and loves to run and come back. There is no rehoming fee, only a seeking a good match. I have older teens and his is in a crate most of the day and would be happier if with someone at home more often. Please email if interested.
