Job Title: Fork Lift Driver/Receiving Job Summary: Diversified Marine (DMI) is looking to hire a fork lift driver and receiving coordinator at their shipyard in Portland, Oregon. This position is responsible for receiving shipments and moving steel from the yard into the project area. DMI is looking for candidates with the ability and desire to efficiently produce quality work. Candidates must be strong communicators with a team-player mentality and be able to complete the responsibilities below. Responsibilities: • Work safely and deliver quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment. • Be a team player—able to work well with others to accomplish a common goal. • Experience with fork lifts • Create and implement systems in receiving shipments and organization. • Maintain a clean, safe work environment. • Help with miscellaneous shipyard tasks when needed. Requirements: • Fork lift driver training/card and knowledge of safe work practices. • Attention to detail and ability to communicate issues to leadership. • Physical ability to complete the work including lifting up to 75lbs. Compensation: Competitive wages depending on experience. Benefits, PTO and 401k included after 3 months.
