..There's nothing we need more than rent control in CA that's for damn sure. They really should have started it a long time ago then we we wouldn't have so many homeless. The ONLY people against rent control are the property owners / landlords and the filthy stinking Rich. That's why Newsom is against it. All his friends are filthy rich property owners. Newsom would rather raise taxes on businesses and force them to lay off more people so they can join the homeless party or outsource to other states like Texas. This crapola about property owners not being able to make a profit is the biggest pile of BS I've ever heard. Any loss can be written off but since they all write off so much bogus bullshit however they would still make a profit just not a massive profit. I've never heard of anyone in CA that rents out property and doesn't make a profit no way Jose.
