We are now in the final days of the historic campaign to recall Gavin Newsom. Election Day is September 14th and voting by mail is now well underway. The in-person voting at polling places will be opening as soon as September 4th. As you know, a “Yes” vote on question number 1 of the ballot is critical to ensuring that Gavin Newsom's tyrannical reign of oppression on our everyday lives is stopped. Newsom has raised $65 million against the Recall, mostly from lobbyists like his French Laundry tablemates. Newsom, to be fair, did just receive a contribution from an actual person: the notorious Socialist George Soros who chipped in $1 million. The RecallGavin2020.com campaign is 100-percent citizen backed. Our team has always acted as stewards of our donor’s money and has used it wisely. We have strategically spent over $160,000 on radio including the paid-for show, “Friday Nights at the French Laundry” ensuring that the reach and word about the Recall is spread throughout California. Another $25,000 has been spent on radio spots just in the last two weeks taking advantage of political rates. Our team has sent out over 15 million emails, spending over $80,000 to reach registered voters outside those aware of the Recall. 4 million were sent this week alone. Over $75,000 has been spent on merchandise, like flags, banners, signs, trifolds, door hangers and bumpers stickers. Our campaign cannot afford TV, but targeted digital advertising has been used and this week alone our team spent another $25,000 on this. RecallGavin2020.com wants you to know that we have spent your money like it was our own. Now we are at the final stage. Our monies are touching the reserves needed for legal and business fees. The race is close. 5 million voters have sent in their ballots already and even though a majority of the votes submitted to-date are from Democrats, we estimate that the actual voting margins are razor thin and that this election could go either way. It is critical that we make sure that all who want Newsom out turn their ballots in. For the short time left we would like to raise $65,000 to send out more email blasts, digital advertising, and spot radio. Although Newsom has far outraised us, we can outwit him. The people of California have come too far and given too much for us not give everything we can in this final push.
