My lonely pup needs a companion

I have a 2yr old Maltese mix who is about 16 lbs and has been very sad and lonely since my 13 yr old dog passed away. I’m looking for a companion for her to lift her spirits who will be small to medium sized so they can do zoomies through the house together. I can’t pay a high rehoming fee. So please don’t reach out if you only are trying to make money.
