Local business man / bass player taking a different approach to the local music scene. I ran this ad a few weeks ago and with an overwhelming response I found a great drummer and keyboardist. If you responded then and I didn’t get to you my sincere apologies. We are still looking for a guitar playing front man. The core will be keys, drums, bass and guitar. Back up instruments to follow once we get going. So that said here is exactly what’s needed to get the show on the road so to speak. Our vision for the music is making this band something different. While we all love classic rock this won’t be our focus. Of course we will do some but we won’t be doing the music most other bands are doing. Our vision is rhythm and blues, some blues, soulful music. That doesn’t mean we won’t play any classic rock….we love Cream, Neil Young, Allmam Brother etc….but while it will include those bands….it won’t be just those bands. Tedeschi Trucks, Teskey Brothers, Wood Brother, Tab Benoit are on the list as well. Guitar player, entertainer, front man etc. you will not have to sing every tune as the drummer sings and so does the keyboard player. But you will be out front so be prepared. Some things that will be conducted differently ….every member will contribute musically snd idealistically. Meaning this will be a democracy not a dictatorship. No egos please. That said….you need to be an upper level player with vocals looking to be compensated and appreciated properly. Age not important ….we range in age from 50 to 61. This band will enjoy pro level gear and all you will need to do is show up with your guitar and play. All other gear will be transported, set up and torn down by my team. At my age ( 61 ) I am DONE carrying gear. Compensation : three hundred minimum per gig and a minimum of 3 gigs per month. 2 rehearsals per month at one hundred per. The reason there is a minimum number of gigs is that one of the things that came up when we ran this recently was nobody wants to commit to a project that plays 1 gig every other month. So again….3 minimum gigs let month. If we play 1 gig then you get mine hundred and if we play 4 then you get twelve hundred.
