Residents are invited to have yard sales at their homes on Saturday, October 2, 2021 and take advantage of the promotion of the event that will be advertised on NEXT DOOR, CRAIG’S LIST and the FAYETTEVILLE OBSERVER. Neighborhood yard sales attract a lot of interest and generate high traffic of potential customers. Residents who would like to have their addresses included in the master list of sale locations should post their interest on the app NEXT DOOR no later than Noon on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Please address your post to SS2021CYS with your address and list a couple of specific items in order to attract buyers to your house. Your post will be included on a map listing the participating addresses. No personal names will be included with the addresses due to privacy concerns. The map will be shared at the event. Residents are encouraged to add their own signs for more complete coverage prior to the event to ensure that no one’s sale is overlooked. Make sure you contact the City of Fayetteville at 433 Hay Street, Fayetteville, NC for your $10.00 permit. Their office is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.
