Attendant / Caregiver needed for a youthful 50 year old Male unable to drive or fully care for himself due to an auto accident. He needs a driver, attendant and companion for both in home and out of the home activities. • We are open to part-time and full-time applicants. • We will supply training. • Medical certification NOT required. • Must be caring, trustworthy and reliable. Male is fun loving. He primarily stays in wheel chair however he is able to walk and lift himself in and out of car and wheelchair. Close monitoring in and out of the home to prevent falls and injury needed. His interests include watching football, baseball and basketball in person and on tv. He also enjoys music, going to movies, coffee shops, eating out, various other recreational activities in this area and traveling. We will supply vehicle for outings. Attendant(s) will be asked to help with daily activities including dressing, showering and grooming. Help with household chores is needed and will include light cleaning, healthy meal prep, laundry (2-3 loads per week) changing sheets, grocery shopping and other aspects of daily living. Please do not apply unless you can meet the following requirements. • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for three years prior to employment. Valid auto insurance is also required. • Can pass criminal background check • Must be able to lift 80 lbs. if needed • Fun loving, outgoing and friendly • Self-motivated, flexible and reliable • Honest and trustworthy • Able to follow directions, work independently and be a team player • Flexible in daily and weekly activities • Enjoy doing things at our home and out in the community • Pet friendly • Medical Certification NOT required Hours will average 35 - 45 hours per week. Generally, hours are Tuesday thru Saturday 9 am - 5 pm however hours can be arranged for the right person or people. $22 - $26 an hour. This is a long-term position for the right applicant(s).
