I'm a 42 y/o Rhythm Guitarist looking for other musicians, (lead guitar, bass, drums, vocals) of about the same age as me, in and around Oak Harbor/Whidbey Island to jam with and possibly start a cover band. I play all kinds of classic rock/classic metal (Skynyrd, Tom Petty, Quiet Riot, STP, Kiss, etc.). I don't have a ton of experience with being in bands or playing live, but I do play along with backing tracks and am confident I can keep up with other musicians. I have solid gear, transportation, and if needed, space to jam. I'm not interested in free form jams or working on originals (maybe later, as we get farther along that would be interesting, but now I want to focus on covers). I'm an organized person and I like to have an idea of what we'd play before we get together. That way we're not wasting each other's time standing around asking each other "what do you want to play?" I've been there, and that kinda sucks. I hate to put this in here, but considering the world we're living in, I'd prefer to meet up with people who have been vaccinated. If not, it's not a deal breaker, but if you're not vaccinated, I will be jamming with a mask on. This is nothing political, just trying to be safe.
