We've got a lot of work lined up and are in need of an experienced project manager to lead our team. AquaLife Ponds is a 9 year old, award-winning, water feature company located in Costa Mesa, California, and services the Orange County and Los Angeles areas. We are a master certified Aquascape contractor and hold a current California state contractors license. We are Southern California’s preferred pond installation, maintenance and repair company. We build relationships with our customers by providing excellence in the installation of our products and service. AquaLife Ponds is a fun company, pay competitive wages, and have a bonus structure. We are looking for someone to come in and develop our installation crews and who is willing to work side by side the crew out in the field. The ideal candidate for this job is someone with experience leading and managing crews, in good physical shape, able to use the business end of a shovel and a pick, and able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. multiple times throughout the day. This person must be a quick decision maker, problem solver and able to direct the work of others. He/she is also well-organized and favors safety above everything else, while maintaining a high level of production. The key duties of this position encompass building and developing multiple crews as well as coordinating and overseeing construction sites. This person is the key point of contact for completion of projects and point of reference for both the crew and customers. He/she will be working in the field as part of the installation crew until the crews are developed and can act independently. Requirements: • 5 years construction experience • A valid driver's license and clear driving record • Pass a background check • Willing to learn • Willing to ask questions when unclear about something • Willing to understand, relay and execute instructions • Willing to lead and create a solid working relationship with crew in the field and vendors Benefits: • Pay is based on experience.
