Description
Due to tragic illness, we have to rehome two macaws. The first is Edward, a 25 year old blue and gold who was once tame but now will only allow some head scratches. He says Hi in the sweetest voice and Hi Edward. He has nice feathers and is a healthy boy. The scarlet is Pebbles. I don't know how old she is but I believe she has the potential to be a good "pet". I have been caring for these birds for about 2 months and have taught Pebbles a couple of tricks. She takes food out of my hand very gently and now allows me to touch her tail. She is stressed and molting so her feather look bad. She is normally very, very pretty. These birds need to have a home where they will get the attention they so desperately need and want. Their owner cannot care for them and has been away for the past 2 months so they are alone too much. If you don't know about Macaws, they are unbelievably LOUD LOUD LOUD! I would not let them go to just anyone. I need to know they will be cared for properly. They will come with cages, toys, food, bowls, whatever we have. There will be a rehoming fee.
