Total Truck & Trailer Repair is searching for an experienced Diesel Technician to add to our team. We service all makes and models; heavy and medium duty. Desired applicant will be motivated with good communication skills, professional conduct, and a good work ethic. Desired applicant must be able to take the initiative, work independently, and ensure that proper maintenance, and repairs are done in a timely manner to a standard of excellence. Job Summary Responsible for repairs and required preventive maintenance of diesel engines, trucks and/or forklifts Inspect, trouble shoot, and perform maintenance on equipment Perform federal safety inspections, and complete corresponding documents Follow proper procedures and protocols for WIP's and Work Orders. Must be comfortable with diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on various trucks, and equipment as well as have full knowledge of brake systems, air suspension systems, electrical and hydraulic systems Service, trouble shoot, and replace electrical components Use schematics, trouble shooting guides and special test equipment Qualifications Applicants must have 2 years of experience and own tools.
