Xero the German Shepherd Needs loving Rehabilitation

Xero is 1 1/2 year old pure bred German shepherd who has a very sweet disposition but has intermittent temper issues. He was abused as a puppy. We've had him for a year with our children. He is an excellent guard dog, will bark ferociously at anyone coming near the house. He is playful and loving with our other younger German shepherd and our children but sometimes he will try to bite us when he gets scared. He also damaged things in our house, such as the entire bathroom door he ripped to shreds. He needs someone with experience and love who has time to work with him. He also is allergic to nature, grass and chicken. He takes meds for this and special food every month. All together the meds and food costs about $175 a month. With his meds he can run around the yard with no issue. He has all his shots and his papers. He was previously trained with German commands and is trained with shock collar. He does obey commands. He is very big. Larger than the photos, 94 lbs. Hard to walk with chain. He really needs a strong man to walk him. Xero is a dog that has great potential for the right person who can rehabilitate him. He is potty trained and good with dogs and cats. Will be very sad to see him go but want him to have a good life. It's too much risk if he bites our children. He needs help. There will be a rehoming fee to make sure he is truly wanted. No dog breeders!! Must show evidence of rehabilitation experience with German shepherds. Thank you.
