ICD- Institute for Career Development is offering a no-cost fully accessible CompTIA A+ certification training program that will prepare youth and adults with disabilities in NYC for career-track jobs in the technology sector.
In this five-month training, participants will build foundational knowledge through hands-on learning in the following areas: hardware, operating systems, software troubleshooting, networking, security, mobile devices, virtualization and cloud computing, and operational procedures. Participants will also receive one-on-one counseling, work readiness training, test preparation, and job placement assistance with ICD’s expert employment specialists.
Graduates who obtain the CompTIA A+ certification will be prepared for employment as Data Support Technicians, End User Computing Technicians, Technical Support Specialists, Field Service Technicians, Desktop Support Administrators, Help Desk Technicians, and more, with a possible salary range of $45,000 – $60,000.
