We have a 4 year old large white parrot ( umbrella Cockatoo)Thats looking for a forever home. He is very talkative, loves playing hide and seek, singing along with songs, cuddling and dancing. He is healthy, little overweight, but since his last medical exam “last year” he is on a healthy diet. His nails gets trimmed every 3 months. Vet visit once a year general health check up (appointment usually takes place around February- April) and as needed during the rest of the year. He loves to be included in any activities you are enjoying as long as he is around in the room he is happy. But also he stays in his cage and naps when we are busy and working in the other rooms as long as we don’t feed in to his short span attention seeking tantrums. Please if you don’t know how to take care of a large parrot don’t waste our time, this is very serious sentence. This bird must have an owner who knows how to handle him and available for him and his needs. You should be very trained or experienced with large birds to handle him. He is an amazing companion we adore him but we are in a situation where its not fair for him or us with soon to be a new born in the house. He comes with his cage and we will be happy to share with you his daily routine. Those birds are very expensive and high maintenance. Current market price for this kind of bird applies.
