A gathering of locals for encouragement and training in marriage discipleship, with the purpose to build up leaders to help families grow. We invite you, pastor, lay marriage ministry leader, or a couple interested in walking alongside other couples to join together for encouragement, prayer and training for one-day, on Saturday, October 23, from 9 AM-4 PM at Lighthouse Christian Center. This is a time for you to be refreshed, meet others with the same passion and come away with six key building blocks for sustainable, proactive, year-round marriage discipleship. Benefit from training on refreshing or starting a marriage ministry in your community or church from FamilyLife speakers, Mike and Alison Fendley, and learn more about the FamilyLife Local movement in the Northwest. By the end of the day you will have a draft of a marriage discipleship plan you can implement right away that is customized to your church or communities vision, culture, structure and demographics. You will be a part of a network of others to connect with for ideas, prayer and encouragement. We desire to offer these gatherings twice each year for any in the greater Northwest area. Invite others you know and join us. A light breakfast and lunch are included. The cost is $12 per person to cover the cost of the FamilyLife materials provided.
