Tour led by Joe Bagley, City of Boston Archaeologist. It will celebrate Charlestown's oldest buildings and the efforts made to preserve them Joe Bagley, City of Boston's Archaeologist, recently published a book titled "Boston's Oldest Buildings and Where to Find Them." All proceeds benefit Boston Landmark Commission. Nine building's in Charlestown made the book. Bagley will lead us on a walking tour of these buildings. It will end at Memorial Hall where we will celebrate its façade restoration and ongoing preservation projects with an optional fundraiser that benefits Charlestown Preservation Society and Charlestown Historical Society. The tour will begin at The Warren Tavern, 2 Pleasant Street, Charlestown. The fundraiser will be held in the garden of Memorial Hall, with apps, beer and wine. 14 Green Street, Charlestown.
