Let's get back to dancing-Safely! West Coast Swing and Night Club Two-Step series will start after Labor Day through Capitola Recreation, at Jade Street Center, 4400 Jade St. in Capitola 95010. Classes will be limited to 4-6 couples for a max total of 12 students to allow for adequate spacing. All participants must be fully vaccinated, all wear masks, and we will not be rotating for now. Please know that the Jade St. Center has added a new air circulation system for our safety. The classes will include two 5 week sessions of the following: Session 1: 5 Thursdays starting Sept. 9 Night Club Two-Step Level 1, at 6:00 Session 2: 5 Thursdays starting Oct. 14th Night Club Two-Step Level 2, at 6:00 Session 1: 5 Mondays, starting Sept. 13th West Coast Swing Level 1, at 6:00 West Coast Swing Level 2, at 7:15 Session 2: 5 Mondays starting Oct. 18th West Coast Swing Level 1, at 6:00 West Coast Swing Level 2, at 7:15 To register or for more info, go to The City of Capitola at When registering for WCSwing, look carefully at the dates.
