Come enjoy our red-carpet hair show, including dessert & champagne, & a silent auction benefiting our nonprofit cosmetology school. Join us for a one-of-a-kind evening at the Century Club to enjoy champagne and dessert, as our hair models feature the creative work of Julie Chapus and others in a fabulous, red-carpet hair show! This fundraising event includes a silent auction with sponsors such as Mint Salons, Joe Bean Roasters, Chiwah Organics, and many other generous local businesses - we are so grateful for their support. We will also be screening a trailer for our upcoming documentary detailing the sobering realities of sex trafficking in Rochester, NY. All proceeds go to our startup, nonprofit cosmetology school, Miss Julie's School of Beauty - a powered by Goldwell school. We seek to provide vocational training to those at risk and survivors of human trafficking, at no cost to them. At this point in our launch process, additional funding is crucial to our work. We are looking to raise $2.5 million to fund the opening of the school in September of 2022. This sum will go toward the purchase and retrofitting of an appropriate building in Rochester, as well as an employee payroll for instructors and other staff members, covering the first two years of operating expenses.
