Vaccine Outreach Specialist Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm JOB SUMMARY: In response to COVID-19, we have created the new, temporary position of Vaccine Outreach Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for outreach to UCNW patients and other community populations and responding to calls placed to the UCNW Vaccine Hotline. You will also coordinate vaccine appointments based on availability. This position will ensure equitable access to vaccine registration and appointments. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH: As a Vaccine Outreach Specialist, you will help to lessen the spread of COVID-19. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL: Have a High School Diploma or GED (BA in related field preferred.) Have six months of related experience or training. Possess strong organizational and customer service skills. Have strong verbal and written communication skills. Have the ability to produce work in high quantity and quality. Have the ability to work independently and be self-directed. Possess Excellent general office skills, including basic knowledge of computer and office equipment (fax, photocopier, phone system). Possess proficient keyboarding skills for the ability to input patient data quickly and accurately. Have the ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment with constant public contact, frequent interruptions, and occasional crisis situations. Have the ability to understand and respond effectively and with sensitivity to special population groups, including those defined by race, ethnicity, language, age, gender, sexual orientation, economic standing, & others.
