cinéSPEAK is proud to present a short film program featuring work of Philadelphia innovative indie filmmakers that explores love and joy. This program is proudly presented in-partnership with Philadelphia Office of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy and Cherry Street Pier. EVENT FLOW: 'Doors' @ 5:00PM Film Screening #1: 6:00PM Q&A with filmmakers to-follow (*only at Fri Sept 24th event) Film Screening #2 (same program): 7:15PM **TICKETS: FREE** Donations to support our current and future work—including our West Philadelphia brick-and-mortar cinema project (coming in early 2022!) are welcome :) **COME EARLY! Grab eats and drinks from The Garden at Cherry Street Pier riverfront bar/restaurant** (Pay-As-You-Go; Feel free to enjoy at the screening and throughout the Pier) **LOCATION OF SCREENING** This is a seated screening located in the center of the Pier in front of the jumbo-tron. The Pier is a semi-outdoor / covered public space. ABOUT THE PROGRAM: < 1 hr / English 'Love and joy is always necessary. Built into the shell of a century-old municipal pier, it is a reflection of Philadelphia today—creative, diverse, historic, adaptable, and inspired.
