Looking for highly skilled musicians that have grown up listening to, and or playing Steely Dan,Walter Becker /Donald Fagen music,at some point in time Specifically looking for musicians that know how to play and have been playing at a pretty high level and have a good understanding of what it takes Preferably sight readers,but am flexible if you have a good ear,or a combination of the 2 Looking for: Drummer- Looking for a groovemeister,that can lock in with me,in a Steve Gadd meets Jeff Porcaro type groove that will have all of Santa Barbara grooving Keyboard Player Someone familiar with SD and the complex chord structures that’s required to make the parts sound legit and as recorded Guitarist Need someone who’s willing to put the work in,to make Walter Breckers parts sound legit as per recording Singer (Male or Female) You must have a minimum voice range to easily cover Donald Fagens vocals,Energy,as well as be able to keep a crowd engaged and having a great time I’m an experienced bassist,that has a lot of live playing and recording experience on both Coasts of the US,and Peru I used to play bass for SB cover party band Redfish,for 5 years before relocating This is intended to be a cool and fun project, with a serious cash making potential once we have a tight sellable product We are going to market to the Wineries,Local Bar’s,Corporate Events,Weddings,Parties, Festivals etc.. A good tight,legit sounding product is going to be the key to the success of the project,which is why unfortunately commitment to rehearsals is going to be crucial in beginning phase,until the gel factor occurs and we have a nice song list going Steely Dan has appeal,because of the cool danceable funky grooves that people of all ages worldwide connect to and love… **Please-Highly Skilled Musicians Only ** Thanks for reading this long ad!
