Job Overview This position will be responsible for accurately receiving product from carriers and other TCH warehouses as well as shipping customer orders or organizing transfers to other TCH locations Essential Job Functions: Pull merchandise from stock for customer orders Mark tag numbers as required Refill stock locations from overstock Pack and mark orders for delivery drivers, UPS, FedEx, Will Call or LTL shipments Pack and tag Door In a Box orders Unload shipments from carriers like UPS, Fedex, LTL, etc. Verify that merchandise received is in acceptable condition before signing for shipment Check hardware in using Purchase Order, Packing List and TCH computer system Fill customer orders attached to the purchase order, transfer items noted to other TCH warehouses, put balance of merchandise in correct stock locations Receive transfers from other TCH warehouse for stock and special orders Utilize warehouse equipment to unload trucks (pallet jack, forklift, power pallet jack, rolling ladders) Skills Requirements Good math skills (count, add, subtract) Basic knowledge of UPS and FedEx shipping programs Basic experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks Basic understanding of product nomenclature Basic understanding of TCH policies and procedures Favorable results from a drug screen and physical Forklift certification or willingness to be certified Working Conditions Warehouse environment subject to temperature changes, on your feet most of the day.
