She came in depressed and hardly wanted to stand up or even leave her kennel. But now she's opening up to her human friends, leaning in for their petting with her tiny tail wagging. She's a quiet, resilient girl whose health is also improving. She is beginning to lose weight and is on medication for thyroid issues and on pain medication for a wounded back leg. She's up for her leash walking. Being stubborn, she thinks she should decide the route, but once she's on the move, she's a good walker. She also understands "sit" and knows that making eye contact will get her a treat. This loyal girl hopes to move to a low-traffic, adult-only new home where she can be the only dog.
