His songs tell stories of pride, hope, hard times and tough breaks as they pertain to life at fringes of Appalachia. Born and raised in small town Dawsonville, GA, Canon has watched as his family and friends have gone through all of the above, and translates these stories into honest songs about making it through each day. Inspired by modern Country heavy-hitters like Tyler Childers, Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson, as well as '70s folk legends Neil Young and Jackson Browne, Tyler's music comes out somewhere in the middle - Appalachian Folk, if you will.
