REMASTERED & REIMAGINED! Join us for a fun fall evening filled chili, live music, craft beer and Hollis hospitality! THE HOLLIS CHILI COOKOFF IS BACK AND WE ARE THRILLED! Last year we cancelled our favorite event of the fall out of abundant caution, but this year we feel that we can take precautions that will allow us to safely gather as a community once again. Join us on the Hollis Lodge grounds for a fun fall evening of chili, live music, craft beer, pie and the most unorthodox live auction west of the Mississippi! All proceeds raised will benefit the mission and ministry of Hollis Renewal Center. However, we are asking you to reserve your spot, by purchasing FREE tickets here on Eventbrite. Headcounts will help us plan. WHAT IS NEW? Instead of packing into the Lodge, we will be hosting the event outside under a large tent. Chili will be provided by Hollis for our community to enjoySilent Auction: Instead of voting on the best chili, guests will have the opportunity to bid on items silent auction items. This will be hosted inside the Lodge during dinner. Bidding concludes at 5:30Pies! We will have an assortment of specialty baked pies from a local bakery made special for this event.Live Auction: We will once again host a live auction but it will be less items and shorter, to ensure folks can make it home for the Chiefs game!WHAT IS THE SAME? Hollis Hospitality: We have and will continue to offer Christian hospitality to all who come to our space. Pandemic or no pandemic...all are welcome here.Location: This will again place at the Hollis Lodge but the vast majority of the gathering will be outside under a tent.
