Science Fiction & YA Books Wanted for Underprivileged Students

Hey! I’m a physics teacher at a local High School in the Mission. My students are predominantly WOC from underprivileged backgrounds and our library is pretty meager. Another teacher and I are trying to supplement it by creating a small lending library. Specifically, we’re interested in science/science fiction books, YA novels (esp. with female protagonists), and graphic novels—but anything of interest to 14-18 year old girls would be amazing! If you have daughters or a kid sister, ask them what they like to read and consider donating! We can arrange a time for you to drop books off at the school, OR I am passionate enough about this that I will ride my bike to your address and pick books up if you send me a location and a list of titles.
