A local construction company is looking for a Full-Time Entry Level Carpenter with BASIC carpentry experience. Under the supervision of an experienced carpenter, this candidate must be able to do the following: 1. Assist carpenters with a variety of building projects, repairs and alterations. Must be able to accurately measure, cut and assemble building materials together as directed by the experienced carpenters, in order to assist them in completing projects in a timely manner. 2. Assist carpenters with painting. Must have exterior painting knowledge. 3. Run errands in personal vehicle, while pulling a lightweight trailer. This trailer will be used to pick up building supplies for the carpenters, and hauling away debris in order to clean up the job site. Must have reliable transportation, automobile insurance and a valid driver’s license. 4. Be able to use a variety of hand tools and power tools. 5. Follow safety rules and regulations in order to maintain a safe environment. 6. Be able to climb a ladder. 7. Be able to work on a roof. 8. Be on time. 9. Be dependable.
