This is routine janitorial work that involves the maintenance of the Tacoma Dome in clean and sanitary conditions. An employee in this class is responsible for janitorial work on the premises and other designated areas. Work is reviewed by the onsite supervisor and the client personnel. Duties and Responsibilities (not all inclusive) • Assumes responsibility for cleaning at the Tacoma Dome or Convention Center • Performs a variety of manual laboring tasks such as assisting with loading, unloading, and moving supplies and equipment • Performs a variety of sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and general cleaning similar to that of a custodian • Reports unusual situations or conditions to immediate supervisor • Assists in cleaning of outdoor parking lots • Performs related work as required Knowledge Skills and Abilities • Knowledge of the materials, equipment, and methods used in cleaning and other janitorial work • Ability to work long hours while standing, walking long distances, and performing moderately heavy cleaning • Ability to read, write, understand, and follow oral and written instructions • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all persons contacted during the course of work • Ability to lift forty (40) pounds or more Education and Experience • High School Diploma or GED and/or experience as a janitor or other work including cleaning or buildings or grounds Apply online at www.nwindustrialstaffing.com/ApplyNow or in person at 205 East James St, Suite 200 Kent WA (253) 859-4788
