MassWildlife To Stock Westford's Long Sought-For Pond With Trout

WESTFORD, MA — The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife) will be stocking over 65,000 trout in lakes and ponds across the state this fall, including Long Sought-For Pond in Westford. The 2021 fall trout stocking will start mid-September and include nearly 28,000 rainbow trout 14 inches and longer, over 33,000 rainbow trout 12 inches and longer, and 4,000 brown trout 9 inches and longer. Long Sought-For Pond in Westford is one of 120 bodies of water in Massachusetts that will be stocked this fall.
