D.C. & Co. returns! D.C. & Co. will be hosting “A One Love World Event” again, at Marion Court Room (7 E. Marion St. 17602 ) Sun. Sept.26th 3:00pm – 7:00pm, (doors open at 2:00). Joining them on stage will be International Bluesman, and ambassador of love and healing through dancing Blues, Roots and Rockin’ Roll, Carlos Elliot & Friends. For decades D.C. & Co. has been recording and performing their mix of horn-powered Rock’n Blues, Funk, Swing & Jazz throughout the Northeast regions of the USA. Bandleader Dave Costarella says” We are creating this time and space to come together and forget about our differences, our fears and politics. Let the music be our common ground to share love at a much higher and inclusive level, to heal ourselves, to heal each other and to heal this planet.” Touring extensively throughout 15 different countries, Carlos Elliot and his band Combine the rhythms from his home in the Andes hills of Columbia, South America, with the music he absorbed from his ten years in the Delta and N. Mississippi, to create an intense new rhythm that propels the body to ritual dance, mixing different musical genres, in what they call "Dancing Blues, Roots & Rock'nRoll". Rain or shine! Marion Court has a huge retractable roof to keep us dry if it rains and in the shade if it’s too hot.
