The Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame welcomes the Class of 2021. The Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2021 will be inducted Tuesday September 28 at Van Andel Arena. The Class consists of Tia Brooks-Wannemacher, Kelly Butler, Bob Kaser, Beth Launiere, Tom Werkmeister and the East Grand Rapids High School State Championship football teams of 2006-10. The Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame honors prominent West Michigan athletes as well as those who have contributed greatly to sports on a local, state or national level. As part of our mission in honoring sports heroes, the Hall of Fame presents annual events in support of West Michigan athletics and raises funds to support local youth organizations and charities.
