OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out this list of goings-on in Ocean County. Eat chowder at LBI's Chowderfest ChowderMonth Instead of just a weekend of eating the best chowders Long Beach Island restaurants have to offer, Chowderfest is ChowderMonth for 2021. Starting Saturday and continuing through Oct. 2, support restaurants directly by purchasing their competition chowder. Then vote online for your favorite in Red, White and Creative categories! Voting closes on Oct. 2 at 11:55 p.m. Check out the Taster Trail and more on the Chowderfest website. Take a twilight boat tour on Barnegat Bay The final twilight boat tour of 2021 is set for Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Few things are as beautiful as a Barnegat Bay sunset. Witness this sight with a seat on Ocean County Park's Bay Cruiser II. The relaxed boat cruise along the shores of Cattus Island leaves from the boat dock at the Ocean County Parks Administration office, 1198 Bandon Road, Toms River. A naturalist will be on board to answer questions and interpret the sights and sounds of twilight. Tickets are $10. Contact the Ocean County Parks and Recreation office at 732-506-9090. Try yoga on the beach with baby goats Take a break from the stress with Namaaaste Goat Yoga at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Long Beach Island Foundation, 120 Long Beach Blvd., Long Beach Township. Namaaaste Goat Yoga is beginner-level yoga that always involves smiles, laughter, giggles, and miniature goats breeds that are just the right size (think beagle-size or smaller) to jump on your back, snuggle in your lap or take a nap on your mat as you move through the certified instructor's guidance. Participants are required to bring their own mat, towel, or blanket. Purchase tickets here. Visit Barnegat's Viking Village Craft and Art show Check out artists and craftsmen starting at 9 a.m. Sunday at Historic Viking Village. There are more than 70 vendors in fine arts, photography, ceramics, wood crafts, clothing, handmade jewelry and more. There is a produce stand, a coffee bar and seafood lunch available on site. Viking Village is at 19th and Bayview Avenue in Barnegat. Watch the finals of the Big Joe Jersey Talent Show The summerlong talent show winds up its 2021 season on Sunday with the final competition on the beach at Jenkinson's in Point Pleasant Beach.
