BOWIE, MD — Many government services change their hours around holidays. Here is what's opened and closed in Bowie around Labor Day, which is on Monday, Sept. 6: Prince George's County Government Offices: County government offices will be closed on Monday. A full list of when each county office and service will reopen is available at this link. City of Bowie Government Offices: City government offices will be closed on Monday. A full list of when each city office and service will reopen is available at this link. Courts: Courts will be closed Monday. Court hours are listed here. Parks: All parks will be open for their normal hours. Residents can call (301) 446-3222 for a full list of what parks and recreational facilities have reopened. Libraries: The Prince George's County Memorial Library System will be closed Monday. Post Offices: Post offices will be closed Monday. Prince George's County Trash and Recycling: There will be no curbside trash and recycling pickup in Prince George's County on Monday. It will resume on the next regularly scheduled day. A schedule of the county's trash, recycling and landfill operations is available here. Bowie Trash and Recycling: There will be no curbside trash and recycling pickup in the City of Bowie on Monday. Transit: The Metrorail and Metrobus will run on their Sunday schedules this Monday. Their holiday changes are posted here. TheBus in Prince George's County will not operate Monday.
