PISCATAWAY, NJ—Piscataway Township Police and the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office are investigating the shooting death of a man Thursday afternoon, TAPinto reports. The Courier-News said authorities identified the man as Alphonso Brown, 22. According to TAPinto, police found a man with gunshot wounds in the area of South Washington Avenue and West 5th Street after receiving a tip of a possible shooting. Officers attempted lifesaving measures. The man was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead, TAPinto reports.
