Description
AUSTIN, TX — A person was taken into police custody following a SWAT call at a south Austin office building Wednesday night.
Police said they received a 911 call just before 10 p.m. from a building's cleaning crew who said they saw several people trying to break into units in the building in the 2100 block of Interstate 35 service road.
When officers arrived, they found one man inside and were able to get him to come out of the building without incident, officials said.
Authorities said officers were told other people could be in the building, one of whom potentially had a gun. SWAT officers, robots and a K9 were called to a search of the building and found no one else inside.
Police say they are still trying to figure out if anything was taken from the building.
